Local Ownership

Tucson and Journey were meant to be. Audrey and Joey bring credibility to the local Tucson market. With a combined 40+ years of experience in the payroll and HR world, we offer something very unique. It’s not often that you find a duo who has worked together for 16 years with that much experience. We have a love for the city of Tucson and our local communities that’s unparalleled. After both having worked at a National Payroll Provider together for the last 16 years, we have learned what it takes to run a successful payroll business. The experience we have gained over that time has taught us the Dos and Don’ts of the industry.

We strive to respect, service, and be thankful for our clients daily. With many choices in payroll providers, it’s important for our customers to see the value that we bring to the table through our work ethic, transparency, fairness in pricing, and overall desire to keep their businesses compliant. It’s also important to help our clients be successful by patroning their businesses and referring them to others when we can.

Meet our leadership

  • Joey Medina

    Managing Partner

    Joey is a new father, enjoying his free time with wife Jessica and baby girl Jocelyn. Serving as Football Manager from 1999-2004, Joey continues to show his love for the U of A through donations to Arizona Athletics and the Wildcat Club.

    Although he originally intended to become a doctor, the payroll industry soon came knocking. A national payroll company recruited Joey to start a new market, which he successfully built over 16 years. Starting in sales, Joey’s effervescent personality and unmatched understanding of the payroll process earned him the role of Sales Director. In addition to his work at Journey, Joey is active in the community as well. He is a member of the Arizona Sands Club Membership Committee, Board of Directors of Felicias Farms and a Member of the Arizona Eller College Alumni Advisory Council.

  • Audrey Good

    Vice President,
    Managing Partner

    Audrey is a native of West L.A. However, after 17 years in Arizona, she now considers Tucson her home. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at California State University in Long Beach. During her 20-year payroll career, she climbed from a sales rep position to leading as District Manager. Her experience is extensive, as she learned the ropes at four different payroll companies, and in two different states.
