How it works
Do you currently have a 401(k) provider?
We work with TPA’s across the country and are adding more to our partnership list every day. The beautiful and unique thing Journey offers is our ability to hook up an integration with a TPA in weeks, or even days.
Normally a new integration takes 6-12 months, but Journey has a unique platform to make this fast and easy.
You will need to set up your 401k with a Financial Advisor or a 401k Third-Party-Administrator (TPA) directly. We believe you need to work with the experts in that field rather than take this on internally. Our full integration option keeps things seamless!
- Step 1: Reach out to your main contact at Journey and ask to be referred to a TPA or advisor so you can set up a 401k with them, and turn on 401(k)NOW.
- Step 2: Once you sign up for the 401k, make your sure your payroll specialist is aware that you’d like to turn on 401(k)NOW so you don’t have to worry about reporting or payments.
Journey doesn’t try to sell you a 401(k) platform that we own. We let the 401(k) experts drive the conversation, because, well, they’re the experts. We’ll work with your current financial advisor or TPA or make a referral to a trusted local broker based on your needs.

Do you manage my money?
We do not move any money from Journey’s side. We work with your TPA to get them the amounts so they can move everything on the backend without you having to do anything else.
Do you report my contributions?
We provide all the reporting necessary in regard to your contributions.
