Fired: The final paycheck is due no later than the next regular payday. Note: Upon providing written notice and an explanation, an employer may deduct a portion of an employee’s final wages for certain purposes, including a deduction to recover the employer’s unreturned property provided to the employee in the course of the employer’s business. Such deductions cannot reduce wages below the minimum wage.
