Fired: | The final paycheck is due at the time of separation, if possible, but in no case later than the next regularly scheduled payday. When an employee requests in writing that his or her final compensation be paid by check and mailed, the employer must comply with this request. Note: Commissions due at the time of termination of a contract between a sales representative and principal must be paid within 13 days of termination. Commissions that become due after termination must be paid within 13 days of the date they become due. |
