2017 W4 1

The IRS has released Form W-4, Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate, for use by employees and employers in 2017.

Form W-4, released Dec. 23, must be completed by employees to ensure that employers withhold the correct federal income tax from their pay. A new W-4 should be renewed annually and after an employee experiences changes in personal or financial situations.

The updated W-4 is included in TLC’s Paperless Onboarding for New Hires and existing employees can update their withholding’s within TLC HUB. The paper form can be found on the IRS’s website here. (The paper form will also be added to the Forms & Docs link found under Popular Resources on our Employer Login page.)
